NADA 3.0 Training, Nairobi Kenya, 18th - 21st October 2010

As part of the implementation of the PARIS21/Accelerated Data Program (ADP), a four day workshop on the installation and management of the IHSN developed National Data Archive 3.0 (NADA 3.0) application was conducted in Nairobi Kenya. The workshop took place from 18th to 21st October 2010.

IT specialists and archive managers from the National Statistics Offices of Kenya, Lesotho, Tanzania, Zambia, Swaziland, Nigeria, Southern Sudan, Liberia, Ghana, The Gambia, Uganda, Ethiopia, Mozambique, Malawi and Palestine took part. Also present were representatives from DataFirst at the University of Cape Town, African Centre for Statistics of the Economic Commission for Africa and the African Development Bank.

The workshop was facilitated by Matthew Welch from the IHSN\World Bank and Margaret Mwangi.

Not shown in the photo below is John Kongor Majak from the Southern Sudan Centre for Census, Statistics and Evaluation. We from the IHSN/Paris21 and all the participants on the workshop wish John Kongor a speedy recovery and safe trip back to his family and friends in Juba.
